Wednesday, January 24, 2024 - The Executive Director of ECREEE, Mr. Francis Sempore, received the Resident Coordinator of the United Nations System in Cabo Verde, Mrs. Patricia Portela de Souza. The Resident Coordinator was accompanied by the Head of the Energy, Environment and Climate Change Portfolio of the Joint Office (UNDP, UNFPA, UNICEF), Mrs. Maria Celeste Benchimol, and the National Coordinator of UNIDO in Cabo Verde, Eng. Edson Azevedo Fernandes. This visit highlights ECREEE’s collaboration with UN agencies in the fields of energy, environment, and climate change. The discussions focused on the synergy of actions for the design and implementation of projects related to the Energy Transition and other themes such as the nexus Energy-Water-Food.
