The ACP Business Climate Facility (BizClim) has approved the ECREEE Project “Promoting Investments in the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Sector in West Africa”, with a budgetary support of 348,000.00 Euros.

From 8 to 9 April 2011, the Steering Committee meeting of the AREA will be held at the ECREEE Secretariat in Praia, Cape Verde. The members will agree on joint activities to be implemented in the forthcoming months.
ECREEE and repowermap.org agreed on a cooperation concerning the mapping of renewable energy and energy efficiency projects in West Africa.
