RCREEE published a new report on international support programs and financial instruments available for sustainable energy projects in RCREEE member states.
The report is based on MEDA Finance Survey 2014, a survey on the MENA region’s private and public sectors eligible for an exhaustive survey of grants, technical assistance and lines of credit totaling over €22 billion from international development agencies, bilateral and multilateral donors, and development banks. The survey aims to provide the southern Mediterranean private and public sectors with knowledge about funding opportunities to carry the region’s economic development.
The survey’s initiative is led by Euro-Mediterranean and regional business organizations and the European Commission. It was conducted and implemented by the Confederation of Egyptian and European Business Associations (Ceeba), the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK), the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce (FEDCOC), and the Federation of Egyptian Industries (FEI).
The RCREEE report aims to present an overview of the international support programs and funding mechanisms that apply to sustainable energy projects and programs in RCREEE member states, based on the MEDA Finance Survey 2014.
