Lebanon on “Emission-Reduction”Track

Lebanon Center for Energy Conservation (LCEC) announced the registration of its First National Clean Development Mechanisms (CDM) project, an initiative started in 2010 the UNFCCC executive board. Further, LCEC assured that the first NAMA concept “NAMA Concept for the Lebanese Construction Sector is being finalized. It will be submitted to the Lebanese Ministry of Environment, the national focal point for climate change in Lebanon.
