Energy Efficiency Week in Tunisia

12-18 April, 2014 - RCREEE organized and participated in organization of two Energy Efficiency (EE) focused events in Tunisia. The EE Week started with RCREEE co-organizing and speaking at a regional seminar focusing on policy reforms to promote the financing of energy efficiency investments. The seminar was organized by the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) in collaboration with RCREEE, the Tunisian Agency for Energy Conservation (ANME) and the Energy Department of the League of Arab States.

Afterwards, RCREEE organized a three day training course on EE applications and programs.  It covered  basic concepts related to energy balance and indicators as well as EE Programs and monitoring tools adopted on a regional level among different sectors.

Notably, this course comes within RCREEE capacity development activities aiming to enhance and raise the technical caliber of the Arab region.
