Minister of Electricity and Energy, Mahmoud Balbaa, announced the government approval on new facilities to boost investment in renewable energy. These facilities include Egyptian Energy Supreme Council approval on exempting parts and components of renewable energy systems from customs duty and sales tax. Besides, granting usufruct rights over required lands for investors.
