Tunisia launches the first solar and wind authorization round for projects

The Tunisian Ministry of Energy has just launched the first authorization round for projects in the renewable energy sector in line with the ‘authorization scheme’ set out in the Tunisian Decree 2016-1123 dated 9 February 2017 (http://www.energymines.gov.tn/autorisation.htm). Interested parties are to make applications to the Ministry of Energy, following the process determined by the Decree. The applications will then be allocated on a competitive basis.
