The National Sustainable Energy Investment Plan (NSEIP) provides a comprehensive roadmap for transforming São Tomé and Príncipe’s energy system toward a cleaner, more resilient, and financially sustainable future. Prepared under the leadership of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Natural Resources (MIRN) and the Directorate-General for Natural Resources and Energy (DGRNE), the Plan was developed with funding from the Green Climate Fund (GCF) and technical assistance from UNIDO through the project “Building institutional capacity for a renewable energy and energy efficiency investment programme for STP”. It was further supported by consultancy partners ThirdWay Partners and puREsource.
