The Regional (EAC) Clean Cooking Network
The East African Community Regional Clean Cooking Network was formalised through a series of meetings in 2024 and mandated to promote advocacy and cross-learning between different clean cooking sector players drawn from various Partner States. The Network is managed by a team of practitioners, representing various stakeholder groups notably, associations, the development sector and EACREEE which doubles up as the secretary for the Network. On the 27th of February 2025, the Network will have its first webinar on "Incentives and Challenges for clean cooking across the East African Community.
The objectives of this webinar are to understand context-specific challenges in various countries impeding the growth and development of the clean cooking markets and uptake of solutions and to appreciate the incentives promoting the adoption of clean cooking and the growth of markets across the EAC Partner States.
