Field visit to monitor the migratory birds for the Autumn 2018

October 29, 2018- Suez, Egypt: RCREEE and the Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency (EEAA) carried out a site visit for monitoring the migratory birds for the Autumn 2018. The visit to Ras Ghareb wind power area at the Gulf of Suez with​​250 MW as part of the implementation of the Active Turbine Management Program (ATMP) for private wind energy investors in Egypt. ATMP program aims to protect migratory birds and increase the electrical productivity of wind power plants. RCREEE Environmental Expert, Eng. Ahmed Khalil and Senior Renewable Energy Specialist, Eng. Ali Khazma represented the center in the field visit.
